ASORA Vault — Privacy Policy

ASORA Vault is a local receipt and document vault for iPhone and iPad. No account is required. ASORA does not transmit receipt contents, photographs, PDF files, recognized text, or document metadata to the publisher's servers.

1. Documents and processing

Photos, imported PDF files, recognized text, amounts, merchant names, serial numbers, notes, and return or warranty dates are processed and stored on the device. Text recognition uses Apple Vision locally. The publisher cannot access your vault contents.

2. Security

The app encrypts the local database, original documents, and previews using AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is held in the device's Apple Keychain. You can additionally protect access with Face ID or the device passcode. Keep independent copies of documents you must retain for legal or accounting purposes.

3. Camera, Photos, Files, and sharing

The app requests access to the camera or selected photos only when you use those features. Files and items received through the iOS share sheet are imported locally. Temporary import files are removed after import.

4. Reminders

If you allow notifications, ASORA schedules local reminders for return and warranty deadlines. Reminder contents are not sent to ASORA servers.

5. Purchases

Apple handles the optional one-time ASORA Premium purchase and restoration through StoreKit. This is not a subscription and does not renew. The publisher does not receive your payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase information is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.

6. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The current app contains no advertisements, third-party tracking, or publisher-operated analytics SDK. ASORA does not collect app usage or document data through a publisher backend.

7. Your control and deletion

You can edit, export, and delete documents in the app. Deleting a document removes its local encrypted copy. Removing the app deletes its local app container according to iOS behavior. Copies you previously exported or included in device backups are managed separately by you and the relevant service provider.

8. Changes

If ASORA introduces data transmission or other materially different processing, this policy and the App Store privacy declaration will be updated before that feature is released.
